Government explanations for not releasing Russia report ‘lacking in any credibility’, says Dominic Grieve

The Government has once again refused to release a report on alleged Russian interference in UK elections until after voters go to the polls in December.

The Government has once again refused to release a report on alleged Russian interference in UK elections until after voters go to the polls in December.

MPs from all parties, including the former attorney general Dominic Grieve, called for the Intelligence and Security Committee report to be published – including evidence from MI5 over Russian attempts to influence the outcome of the 2016 Brexit referendum and the last general election.

Number 10 insist they are just following normal procedure.
