Households across the UK have been struggling with rocketing energy bills. So the news that British Gas, Scottish Power and Shell are reporting huge profits is not going down well.

We spoke to Ed Miliband the Shadow Secretary of State for Climate Change and Net Zero, and we began by asking whether the British Gas windfall is a result of the war in Ukraine.
