Government urges people not to delete the Covid app

Downing Street is urging people not to ignore or delete the Covid app if it tells you to self isolate, insisting it is still an important tool in the fight against coronavirus. But ministers have conceded they may make the app less sensitive, amid concerns about the increasing numbers of people getting pinged.
