Green Party launch election campaign

Ciaran Jenkins: ‘The turmoil over Labour’s left-wing candidates couldn’t have come at a better time for the Green Party, who launched their campaign today.

They are aiming to win support from left-of-centre voters who think Labour has gone soft on the environment and is not being honest about how much it will cost to improve public services.

The Greens are defending their only seat in Brighton Pavillion but they are also targeting Bristol Central and two others.
