Grenfell inquiry hears firms ‘pulled the trigger’ on victims of the tragedy

Companies who refurbished Grenfell Tower are responsible for the deaths of 72 people “as sure as if they had taken careful aim with a gun and pulled the trigger”, the inquiry has been told.

Sam Stein – the QC representing some of the victims, bereaved and survivors, accused the companies responsible of promoting “their unsuitable dangerous products in the pursuit of money”.
