Grenfell survivors demand swifter action

Grenfell survivors and bereaved relatives have told the government a similar disaster could happen again because of the lack of progress over fire safety and tackling the root cause of the blaze.

Ahead of the second anniversary of the fire, the Housing Secretary James Brokenshire said those living in buildings like Grenfell Tower should trust that “the state understands their lives and is working for them”.
