Health Department reduced to ‘smoking ruin’ by Covid, says Cummings

Boris Johnson’s former chief adviser, Dominic Cummings, has told MPs that the Department of Health was reduced to a “smoking ruin” as it struggled during the first months of the coronavirus pandemic in England.
