Heart surgeon dies after contracting coronavirus

Tributes have been paid to a highly-regarded heart surgeon who has died after contracting Covid-19 in Wales.

Jitendra Rathod, a father of two, was described as a very compassionate and wonderful human being.

He died in the intensive care unit at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff on Monday.
