High Court judge allows migrant flight to Rwanda to go ahead

A High Court judge has refused to grant an injunction to halt a flight expected to deport dozens of people to Rwanda on Tuesday.

Lawyers acting for migrants challenged Home Secretary Priti Patel’s plan to send them on a one-way ticket to the east African country.

Up to 130 people have been notified they could be removed.

The policy is designed to deter people from trying to reach the UK by crossing the Channel.
