Hillsborough: Trial collapses as judge rules no case to answer

The trial of two retired police officers and a solicitor accused of perverting the course of justice over the Hillsborough disaster has been stopped after the judge ruled there was no case to answer.

The decision has angered the families of the 96 Liverpool fans who were crushed to death during a football match in 1989. It brings to an end their long battle for people to be held accountable by law.
