Home Office admits LGBTQ refugees sent to Rwanda could face ‘ill-treatment’

The Home Office has admitted that LGBTQ refugees who are sent to Rwanda could face ill treatment – but said government plans to relocate people to the east African country would continue.

The first group of people due to be deported to Kigali will be informed of the decision this week.
