Home Office ignored Windrush warnings, says NAO

The government knew for four years about members of the Windrush generation being caught up wrongly in its hostile environment, and still doesn’t know how many people were affected. That is the verdict of the National Audit Office, which criticised the Home Office today in a report. We have been speaking to one man caught up in the controversy.
