Home schooling affecting most disadvantaged

Most parents will now be all too familiar with the headache of homeschooling, and a new survey for Channel 4 News shows the impact it’s having on the most disadvantaged.

It found that only 9% are achieving five hours of academic work a day. Nearly half said their children had managed less than three hours each day.

We spent the week on the Winn Gardens estate in Sheffield, to find out how parents have been managing.
