3mHong Kong police clash with extradition law demonstrators
Police in Hong Kong have clashed with demonstrators who have been protesting against an extradition law which they fear will be used to target China’s political opponents in the semi-autonomous territory.
Hundreds of thousands of protesters had jammed the streets three days before the new rules are implemented, allowing suspected criminals to be tried in mainland China.
