5mHong Kong protests: police fire tear gas to disperse crowds
Police in Hong Kong have fired tear gas to disperse crowds of protesters. The crowd had defied warnings not to gather to protest the failure of security forces to step in six days ago when demonstrators were brutally attacked by a stick-wielding mob at a train station.
