Hopes UK will ‘rethink’ foreign aid cut amid Tigray conflict, says UN’s Sir Mark Lowcock

This evening the issue of Tigray was raised in parliament, and the UK government said that it would push for the UN and international community to carry out a credible investigation into the atrocities.

We spoke with the UN’s humanitarian chief Sir Mark Lowcock and began by asking him whether aid agencies are able to get access to the Tigray region.
