Housing crisis dominates as Ireland prepares to vote in snap election

Ireland is into its final hours of campaigning, ahead of tomorrow’s snap election.

Opinion polls put current coalition partners Fine Gael and Fianna Fail within touching distance of each other and Sinn Fein – suggesting voters may end up with more of the same.

What they really want though, is an end to the housing crisis, with homelessness hitting a record high in September and rents rising out of people’s reach.
