How government and schools will help kids catch-up with lost learning in England

As children prepare to head back to classrooms in England a week on Monday, teachers face the enormous logistical challenges of creating testing centres and trying to make up for the many hours of lost learning.

The government said today there will be more funding for schools, including a further £400 million for summer schools, tuition and after-school activities to help children in England catch up.
