How Liverpool’s gym owners fought to stay open in lockdown

Liverpool was the first city to go into Tier 3 lockdown in England.

As more and more regions are placed under England’s toughest restrictions, gyms are being forced to close.

But on Merseyside, gym owners resisted shutdown, determined to carry on providing a service they believe to be essential to the mental health and well being of their communities.
