London is not the only city trying to tackle a surge in violent crime. There’s been a sharp increase in knife-related offences in the West Midlands, where deaths among young people are at their highest for 40 years.
But there are some radical new approaches to the problem. We’ve been to see a new interactive virtual reality experience, launched by a Birmingham-based theatre company, designed to help young people explore issues like knife crime, drugs, and gangs and learn from the decisions they make.
