How will Trump’s win affect Europe and Ukraine?

European leaders have had their first chance to discuss the impact of another Trump presidency at a political summit in Budapest.

The Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy was there too, appealing to the Western leaders to stand firm with their defence commitments, at a time when America’s future support looks more uncertain.
