HTS promise ‘salvation government’ for Syria with Assad gone

Syrians are continuing to celebrate the fall of the regime that oversaw every part of their lives for more than half a century.

And here in Damascus, the new self-proclaimed ‘Salvation’ government is taking its first steps towards remedies for what they’re calling a ‘catastrophic’ situation – and saying all rebel groups will now be dissolved into a new national army.
