Hugh Grant settles privacy lawsuit against The Sun newspaper publisher

Hugh Grant has reluctantly settled a lawsuit against the publisher of The Sun newspaper over claims journalists used private investigators to tap his phone and burgle his house.

The actor said he’d been offered “an enormous sum of money” to keep the matter out of court, which he accepted to avoid being stuck with a huge legal bill even if he won.
