Humza Yousaf insists SNP is not facing bankruptcy

Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf has insisted that the Scottish National Party is not facing bankruptcy.

But with two senior party officials arrested amid an ongoing police investigation, he’s having to deal with a major crisis over SNP finances.

And the problems stretch further than Scotland.

Unless the party can provide audited accounts by the end of next month, it will not get a million pounds of public funding for its MPs at Westminster.
