Hundreds of bars at risk of closure due to rising energy bills

Pubs should be in the midst of their most profitable time of the year, but rising energy bills mean many will be forced to shut down for good, according to a leading trade body.

The British Beer and Pub Association say falling wholesale prices for energy are not being passed on to their industry and that’s putting hundreds of bars at risk.
