‘I don’t think Erdoğan is going to be pro-immigration’ says chair of international relations at Özyeğin University

What does Erdoğan’s victory mean for Turkey’s place in the world. It was no surprise that the first leader to send his congratulations was Russian President Putin – commending his “independent foreign policy”.

A reference perhaps to the fact that Erdogan manages to sit round the NATO table as a member while also describing Putin as a “dear friend”.
