IFS says ‘tax cuts today add to risk of tax rises or spending cuts tomorrow’

It’s an election year – and inevitably perhaps the hint of tax cuts is in the air. But the Institute for Fiscal Studies says given the gloomy state of the UK economy – politicians need to be honest about what spending cuts they’d make to pay for it all.
