Doctors in India are to stage a 24 hour strike, in protest against the rape and murder of a trainee doctor.
The 31-year-old woman was attacked in a Kolkata hospital room where she had been taking a break during a long shift.
Thousands of doctors have taken to the streets – with chants of “reclaim the night”, demanding justice and more safety for women.
