India’s Covid cases continue to rise amid vaccine shortage

After 3 million new cases in ten days, any hopes that India might be reaching a Coronavirus plateau have been dashed by a new world record.

More than 401,000 new cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours – as several states warned of severe vaccine shortages.
