Iran arrests actress from Oscar-winning film over protest support

Iranian authorities have arrested one of the country’s best known actresses – after she condemned the execution of an anti-government protester.

Taraneh Alidoosti is charged with “spreading falsehoods” about the protests which have gripped the country.
