Irish PM says ‘Brexit is a problem created by Britain’

You got yourselves into this mess, now it’s up to you to get yourselves out of it. That’s the gist of Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar’s message to Britain when we asked him if he was willing to compromise over the Ireland backstop, which is supposed to prevent the return of a hard border after Brexit. Mr Varadkar was at the global economic summit in Davos, alongside the Chancellor Philip Hammond.
