Is a Brexit deal any closer?

Brexit negotiators were burning the midnight oil in Brussels last night, with scant detail about what might, if anything, be put to the cabinet tomorrow. Much is still mired in confusion, not least whether Theresa May’s senior ministers will fall into line, or whether there will be further resignations. One thing appears to be clarifying, though: the chances of a November summit are receding by the day.
