Is Israel’s evacuation of Rafah the precursor to full scale invasion?

Israeli forces have been battling Palestinian fighters across Gaza – including parts of the north the military said it cleared months ago.

Troops have also pushed deeper into Rafah in southern Gaza – where more than a million people are sheltering.

The Hamas-run health ministry says the number of people killed in Gaza has now passed 35,000 since the October 7th attacks on Israel – with almost 79,000 injured.
