Is peace finally coming to Yemen?

Yemen’s long and bloody civil war has been the scene of one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.

Now, there is renewed hope for peace as negotiations develop between Saudi Arabia, who are the largest backer of Yemen’s government, and the Houthi Rebels occupying the northwest of the country.

We speak to President Aidarous Al Zubaidi, the leader of the influential separatist Southern Transitional Council, and vice-President of the Yemeni government about whether a Saudi deal will bring peace to all of Yemen, and what the world can do to address the humanitarian crisis.
