Israel deploys extra police after terror attack in Tel Aviv

Israel has deployed extra police and army battalions in a number of city centres – after an Italian tourist was killed in a suspected terror attack last night.

Seven other people, including three Britons, were injured when an Israeli Arab rammed a car into pedestrians walking along the seafront in Tel Aviv. The suspected attacker was shot dead by officers at the scene.
