Israel-Gaza: 142 Palestinians killed in past 48 hours, officials

Thousands of Palestinians are once again on the move as Israel continues its military offensive in Gaza. Officials said at least 142 people were killed by Israeli strikes and another 150 were wounded in the past 48 hours.

In the last few minutes there’s been a joint statement from the US, the UK, France, Germany and Italy, calling for an immediate ceasefire and hostage release – amid growing fears that an attack by Iran on Israel could be imminent.
