Israel is not ready to pay the tax of a peace deal, says Hamas representative in Iran

Last week, Channel 4 News was in Iran covering the election and before leaving on Saturday, we interviewed Khalid Qaddoumi – the political representative of Hamas in Tehran.

Hamas seized full control of Gaza in 2007 after winning the election there the year before.

It gets military, financial and diplomatic support from Iran.

The British government has proscribed Hamas as a terrorist organisation since 2001.

We asked him whether Hamas was willing to release all the hostages.
