Israel appears to have dealt a double blow to Hamas, adding to fears of a wider war in the Middle East.
It says it’s confirmed the death of the group’s military chief in an airstrike in Gaza last month, which also killed more than 90 others.
The announcement came as huge crowds filled the streets of Tehran for the funeral of Hamas’s political leader, Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed there yesterday.
While in Lebanon, Hezbollah warns of a “definite response” to Israel killing its top military commander.
