Israel strikes Gaza with ‘mighty vengeance’ – day 2 update

Hundreds of men, women and children gunned down in their cars, homes and at a rave. Dozens more captured and taken into Gaza.

Israel is still reeling from yesterday’s surprise attack by Hamas – which is designated a terrorist group by the UK, US and European Union. Shock too, in Gaza, where two days of retaliatory air strikes have led to hundreds of casualties.
