Fighting rages on in the north and south of Gaza.
In the south, those who haven’t fled Rafah say the air strikes and shelling have been almost non-stop as Israeli forces continue their advance.
Troops and tanks have also pushed deeper into Jabaliya in the north – killing and wounding dozens more Palestinians – with ambulances unable to access the area.
But the arrival of desperately-needed aid by sea is offering some hope.
