Jailed Iranian activist Narges Mohammad wins Nobel Peace Prize

She’s been jailed several times, sentenced to 154 lashes, and hasn’t seen her children for seven years. Narges Mohammadi’s fight against the oppression of women in Iran has won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Alongside thousands of women who’ve demonstrated against the regime. Iran’s government has condemned the Nobel Committee’s decision as a biased move aimed at politicising the prize.
