Jamaica leads calls to become republic in wake of Queen’s death

Now King Charles III has also become head of state of 14 Commonwealth countries – nations like Jamaica.

Many people there have been expressing their sadness at the death of the Queen – but that hasn’t dampened the desire for an end to the trappings of the colonialist past.
