Exactly 26 years ago, Sir Jeffrey Donaldson walked out of peace talks, hours before the historic Good Friday agreement was struck.

Today, he resigned as leader of the Democratic Unionists and was suspended from the party, weeks after leading it back to power-sharing in Stormont.
