Jetman soars over Grand Canyon

Jetman Yves Rossy jumps from a helicopter with jets attached to his arm and flies in and around the Grand Canyon, USA.

Rossy was “launched” from a helicopter from 8,000 feet before reaching speeds of 190 mph whilst jetting across the ridges of the Canyon.

The footage was filmed by Rossy’s crew and it has not been corroborated whether his attempt to cross the canyon was achieved.

Yves Rossy gained notoriety in 2008 after using his jet pack to cross the English Channel. He also crashed into the sea just of Morocco in attempt to be the first person to cross the Straits of Gibraltar to Spain.
