Johnson heckled during floods visit

The Prime Minister’s notorious charm seemed to let him down today.

He was meeting soldiers who’ve been deployed to help with the flooding, but the welcome he received from local residents was frosty to say the least.

Mr Johnson promised he would spend more on flood defences.

But with more rain expected in the area tomorrow, the government will be under pressure to do more to help affected areas straight away.
