Johnson rules out new cost of living measures before he leaves office

Boris Johnson has ruled out taking any new measures on the cost of living crisis until a new prime minister is in place, as Number 10 said it would be up to either Rishi Sunak or Liz Truss to work out.

The two leadership rivals have been trading blows over their economic plans.
