Johnson supporters accused of ‘coordinated campaign’ of abuse against Privileges Committee

A group of Boris Johnson’s most vociferous parliamentary supporters have been accused of taking part in a “coordinated campaign” of abuse against the Privileges Committee when it was investigating whether the former Prime Minister lied to the Commons.

A report published today says the seven Conservative MPs and three Lords had the “clear intention” of driving Conservative members off the committee and discrediting its conclusions.
