Helen Lewis on political journalism: ‘We have ended up with a system that’s almost designed to produce group think’

The outgoing deputy editor of the New Statesman, Helen Lewis, has broken ranks with her colleagues, saying that they, by and large, get it wrong.

Their predictions and assumptions are wide of the mark and this, she reckons, has led many to distrust the way our politics is reported.
