Journey from Afghanistan to Wales turned into play

Thousands of Afghans who’ve fled the Taliban takeover are starting new lives, many of them here in the UK.

It’s an experience that Hamed Amiri and his brothers went through two decades ago after their mother made a speech advocating women’s rights.

The story of their journey from Afghanistan to Wales has been turned into a new play opening in Cardiff tonight.
