Junior doctors ready to begin longest strike in NHS history

Tens of thousands of junior doctors in England are about to begin a five-day strike over pay, the longest industrial action of its kind in NHS history.

Consultants are also planning a walkout shortly afterwards,- their first since 2012, and only the third time senior doctors have ever gone on strike.
